Decluttering your home can be a great way to reduce stress, increase efficiency, and create a more organized and peaceful living space. Most people never know where to start, maybe you haven't began because you have no direction. Either way, the struggle is real! But no need to worry, I have some great pointers to get you started.

Here are a few tips to help you get started:
1. Start small: Rather than trying to declutter your entire home at once, focus on one room or one area at a time. This will make the process more manageable and help you see progress more quickly. Once that confidence is up and your mindset is right the idea will become clearer. It doesn't have to be a headache! The process is what you make it, throw on some music, grab snacks and get right into it.
2. Make a plan: Decide what you want to accomplish and create a plan for how you will achieve it. This could include setting aside specific times to work on decluttering, creating a list of tasks to complete, or setting a goal for the number of items you want to get rid of. Seeing these things in front of you will give you a better idea of how to tackle the challenge!

3. Sort your items: Go through each item in the room and decide whether to keep, donate, sell, or throw it away. Consider whether the item serves a purpose in your life, whether you have room to store it, and whether it brings you joy.

4. Get rid of unnecessary items: Once you've sorted your items, it's time to get rid of the things you don't need. Donate items in good condition to a thrift store or charity, sell items that still have value, and throw away anything that is broken or no longer usable. The key is letting go! If you get to a point where the "don't want" pile is overflowing then its time to visit a good will or donation centre, there is someone who would love to get your unwanted items.

5. Find a home for everything: As you declutter, make sure you have a designated place for every item. This will make it easier to keep your space organised and tidy in the future. Put things where they make sense, I cant stress this enough. That drawer in your kitchen full of tools and receipts, DITCH THEM. Make your spaces intentional and easy accessible.
6. Maintain your decluttered space: To keep your home decluttered, make a habit of regularly going through your belongings and getting rid of anything you no longer need or use. This will help prevent clutter from building up again.

Set aside dedicated storage space for items that you use regularly and put them away in their designated spot after using them. Donate or sell items that you no longer need or use. This can help to reduce clutter and make it easier to find the things you do need. Make a habit of putting things away as soon as you are finished using them. This will help to prevent clutter from accumulating in the first place. Consider using small storage solutions, such as bins and baskets, to help keep clutter organized and out of sight. Set aside time each week to declutter and tidy up your home. This can help you stay on top of clutter and ensure that your home stays organized and tidy. Consider using a minimalist approach to decorating and organizing your home. This can help to reduce clutter and make it easier to keep your home clean and organized.
